Description
The use of ROVs in the Aquaculture market is rapidly growing as fish farms look to more cost effective means of monitoring their stock as well as safer solutions. Each fish pen has a valuable commodity that needs protection from predators as well as dead or "mort" fish.
LBV is the ideal solution to monitoring the condition of the pens in a very efficient manner. Also, during the inspection process should any "mort" fish be identified the LBV can retrieve these to the surface for removal. All this in a matter of minutes.
Solution
A LBV system fitted to a small boat can inspect many pens in a day. Simply tie up to the outside of the pen, lower LBV into the water and fly around checking for damage or "morts". Time is money and with the LBV's powerful thrusters, intuitive controls and 4-axis maneuverability inspections are quick.
The low maintenance LBV systems offer the ability to work hard, get the job done and only require basic measures to keep the system in perfect operating condition. A low maintenance, low at risk asset with a high return on investment.
