Across the world there are numerous hydro applications for the LBV. Structures themselves require inspections to ensure proper operating conditions are met as well as any maintenance that might need carried out. Adding to the structures are the mechanics of the various types of power hydro plants. Internal pipeline inspections are just one example.
Solutions
The various LBV systems offer a diverse range of capability to tackle the hydro demands. Several clients have found usefulness in the long line systems such as the LBV300-6 where they are able to deploy from high above the waterline and/or have the capability to penetrate deep within the hydro structures.
With the added thrust found in the LBV300-6 hydro clients are able to pull the extended length of tether (2,000 meters) and also work in conditions where other small ROVs lack the power.

 ASI of Canada has found great capability in their LBV300-6 system. The portability of the system has enabled remote operations without the need of any launch equipment. Two people can quite easily handle the system and with the low vehicle weight enable deployment from high structures. Picture above is 80-100 ft from the water. In addition to the portability is the exceptional amount of power that has enabled ASI to penetrate up to 650 meters and without needing to use full power.
