Description
The inshore market offers a broad range of applications for LBV. Demanding conditions require the use of a capable and rugged small ROV. There is often remarks made from the commercial diving industry that express concerns regarding the use of small ROV systems and that they take away work from divers or can't do the work of divers. LBV on the contrary is highly praised by divers and used to enhance the capability of a dive team. Many divers would rather perform an inspection from the surface rather than suit up. A valuable resource is the LBVs ability to quickly identify the work and enable a diver to determine exactly what to do.
Solutions
There are variety of solutions depending on actual work scope. Most inshore applications seem to require only shallow water work and in relatively protected waters. Such tasks as bridge inspections, ports and harbors are easily accomplished by the LBV.
If requirements demand more tether and/or rapid deployment the popular LBV200-4 system is the ideal choice. Added tether, control console and reel offer incredibly simple setup as well as extended reach
There is a system for every task.
Client Profile - TUUKRITOODE OY
|
Estonia based LBV client TUUKRITOODE OY uses their LBV200-4 for various applications within the inshore diving industry. This winter the LBV was used for a bridge inspection in below zero Celsius air temperature and near zero water temperature. The use of divers was not practical as the application required frequent up and down from 0 to 18 meters, which is difficult on dive tables.
When not conducting traditional inshore inspections TUUKRITOODE OY is recovery drowning victims and even helping with downed aircraft retrieval. A versatile platform for a versatile client.
