Maritime Security

Description
In today's world there is a growing requirement to protect our home ports, waterways and vessels. The use of an ROV offers many benefits to many different organizations within the government. The LBV offers an excellent platform to inspect hulls for objects or contraband, search home ports and waterways for potential danger and even locate mines.

Using the LBV takes away the need to put human divers at risk. Additionally, the LBV has a reduced manpower requirement and can often accomplish the task in a shorter timeframe. LBV provides the ability to identify and evaluate the course of action. This will aid dive teams when required.

Solutions
SeaBotix offers a wide range of solutions to meet the requirements of today's Maritime Security needs. Through experience gained working with clients the system specifications seem to fall into requiring:

  • Rapid deployment
  • Powerful
  • Ease of operation
  • Sonar
  • Positioning
  • Field serviceable

To meets these requirements the LBV300-5 is the ideal system with increased stability, dual vertical thrusters and the ability to add the patented crawler skid for unprecedented stability on ship hull inspections.

The use of sonar enables quick object location to acquire visual identification. Positioning system offers the operator with the location should a dive team be required or repeat inspections. Fit a grabber for object retrieval and in poor light/visibility situations the addition of external lighting helps light the way.
