The offshore market offers a broad range of applications for LBV. Where previously only Work Class ROVs were used the offshore market is finding more and more uses for a compact and capable ROV such as LBV and vLBV. Important to the offshore market is that the ROV used be capable, robust and reliable. SeaBotix MiniROV systems have proven themselves time and time again in the hands of the offshore operator.
There are a wide range of offshore uses such as using the LBV for platform inspections, pre-site survey and aiding WROVs with their tasks. With SeaBotix MiniROVs small size it is easily deployed from anywhere offering quick inspections. This can be very useful when the alternative is a WROV or diver. The LBV is also a very useful tool in aiding larger ROVs in their work. By positioning the LBV or vLBV as a remote camera operators of the larger ROVs have the extra eye to simplify their operations.
The SeaBotix vLBV series of small vectored ROVs offers a new standard in offshore performance. Vectored vehicles are widely used within the commercial offshore industry due to their high capability in demanding conditions. The vLBV takes this to a new level with the first small vectored system. Utilizing the industry leading small diameter tether and increased thrus the vLBV surpasses the capability of larger vectored ROV systems. Payload is impressive for added sensor capability.
The SeaBotix MiniROVs with their high power thrusters, small diameter tether and ideal mass provide the commercial user with a highly stable and capable system. Added depth ratings and cable lengths amongst other features allow custom configurations to suit the requirements.
