Potable Water Applications |
 |
Description
Water municipality inspections are perfect use for the LBV. Conditions often don't get much better than no current and clear water. The need is the ability to closely inspect conditions such as corrosion, sediment or potential sabotage. LBV is widely used around the world to monitor the conditions of various potable water sources like tanks and reservoirs.
Solution
The low vehicle and umbilical weight of LBV make it an ideal solution to inspecting various potable water structures. It can easily be raised to the top of a tower and dropped in by a single person. Conditions are often quite good therefore not requiring an overly custom system. One client has fitted the LBV with a sediment gauge to monitor the amount of sediment collecting in the tank.
LBV is easy to operate for the new users. Also, of great benefit is the ability to inspect laterally and the lamp that tracks the color camera. The inspection of the top or bottom of the structure in near dark conditions require the light which if fixed poses a problem when looking up or down.
