At the request of a client SeaBotix engineers have developed a special LBV system to pull 750 meters of umbilical. The added drag of the longer umbilical required the LBV to have more pulling power. So the system has four (4) forward Brushless thrusters each of which has 3.9kg of force. A total combined forward Bollard pull of 14kg of force. The two additional thrusters have been mounted on a new polyethylene bumper frame.

In addition to the added pulling power the system is depth rated to 300 meters, fitted with Prizm MicroMux fiber optic electronics and supplied with an umbilical reel to handle all 750 meters of umbilical.

Other features include an open frame design, grabber, multiple cameras, sonar, tracking and all the standard features found in other LBV systems. The system will become a standard SeaBotix product once final development and testing is complete.
