Furthering the already impressive line of options available for the LBV SeaBotix engineers are hard at developing more. As more and more systems are delivered new users find more ways to use LBV. In keeping up SeaBotix develops new technologies and solutions. Also, the SeaBotix team continues in house testing and development coming up with new ideas simplifying the operation of LBV and enhancing the performance.

Such new products include:

Proportional vertical thruster control - a simple wheel that mounts on the side of the hand controller given the user a smoother vertical thruster control.

Wireless hand controller - using the latest wireless technologies a wireless hand controller has been developed. The elimination of a cord helps with ease of use but more importantly when deploying LBV operators can take the hand controller to the side of the vessel leaving the power supply and monitor inside. Simple idea that really simplifies deployment.

Umbilical reel - a new umbilical reel has been developed from our already successful 350 meter reel. This incredibly durable and robust reel can accommodate up to 175 meters of umbilical and fit nicely in a transit case.

Lower cost USBL tracking system - in cooperation with Link Quest a lower cost USBL tracking system offers LBV positioning with the simplistic topside design of USBL systems. Unlike SBL or LBL systems there is no need for calibration and multiple topside transponders or transceivers.
