Working with UK distributor Cetrax Systems Ltd. SeaBotix has recently delivered six LBV systems to the United States Navy. The Navy purchased the LBV systems Specifically for their EOD department based in Sicily. According to the Navy the LBV systems were chosen based on their intuitive controls, powerful thrusters, standard features and integrated design.

Each of the six systems is fitted with Each LBV150S, integrated console, grabber, reel, remote spares kit, Tritech Micron sonar and Link Quest TS1500LC USBL tracking system. All components are fully integrated making a compact overall package with the LBV vehicle maintaining a low drag design. Many ROVs have the additional components stacked on creating tremendous drag without added power.

The systems offer the US Navy rapid deployment, single person operation for Maritime Security inspections. An ideal low at risk asset.
