SolidWorks Corporation chose the SeaBotix LBV for its design excellence using their software. As a result the LBV was displayed in a custom built tank at the annual SolidWorks World Expo in Orlando, Florida. President Don Rodocker and Mechanical Engineer Stephanie Griffin were flown out by SolidWorks to attend the show and talk to attnedees about the design process of LBV and what it does.

This is an incredible compliment coming from the number one 3D engineering software company in the world. Competition for such an award is very extensive and for LBV to be included was a major accomplishment for the SeaBotix engineers and design team.

From the onset LBV has been completely designed using the SolidWorks program. It is an amazing program to be able to design complex products. All SeaBotix products are engineered using the program. Additionally, the use of CosmosWorks enables the engineers to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on each component to ensure they withstand the pressure, very important in our deeper (1,500 meter) systems.
