This years Underwater Intervention trade show in New Orleans was a huge success for SeaBotix. The previous years have always been good and 2005 was no exception. After being invited to participate in the SolidWorks World expo in Orlando just a few weeks prior there was a new addition to the booth. An acrylic water tank that SolidWorks had SeaBotix make specifically for their show.

At the show it seemed as though there was no break in the amount of people stopping by. Comments from other distributors were that they thought the SeaBotix booth was the busiest at the show.

Featured at the show was the introduction of the new Generation 2 LBV systems. Throughout the years SeaBotix has continually refined the LBV and the new system may look similar, but mostly new. Performance is up more than 30%, reliability continues to grow while the intuitiveness of the system only gets better. The LBV2 series is a remarkable small ROV system as illustrated by the more than 225 systems sold in a short period of time.

Other new products released was the new 6 thruster LBV with up to 750 meters (2,460ft) of umibical and depth rated to 300 meters (1,000ft). It was a great time to meet new clients, existing clients and fellow suppliers to the underwater industry. We look forward to more successful years in the future.
