Body Recovered in 185ft of water
Body Recovery

On Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, a friend and former co-worker with the Placer County Sheriff’s Dept. called me to request assistance with a body recovery in Donner Lake, Truckee, CA. Both he and I served as members of the Placer County Sheriff Public Safety Dive Team for many years. According to reports, a man was ice skating on the frozen lake, struck his head during a fall, broke through the ice and drowned in approximately 185 FFW. 2006 Biggest Year for SeaBotix yet
SeaBotix

SeaBotix had a record year in 2006. Each year since starting in 2001 have seen impressive growth, but 2006 was bigger than ever. During the year SeaBotix delivered 111 LBV systems ranging from the basic LBV150BE2 to the deep water rapid response system LBV600XL2. The systems were delivered into 28 different countries.

This growth would not have been possible if it weren't for our global distribution network that continues to promote the SeaBotix line of products around the world.

2007 already looks to be even more growth for SeaBotix with over 30 systems already on order. Adding to the growth for 2007 will be the production release of the LBV150SE-5, which is already been ordered by a few agencies. Other industry leading products are scheduled for release this year.

LBV Available with BlueView ProViewer
SeaBotix

SeaBotix LBV systems depth rated to 300 meters are now available with the BlueView ProViewer series of multi-beam high definition sonars. Either the P450E (450KHz) or the P900E (900KHz) models are available. Other small ROVs are only able to offer the lower frequency P450E.

Use of the ProViewer enables an LBV operator/navigator clear high resolution images in black water conditions. The increased scan rate also helps to keep the image clear if the LBV is moving or if the object is moving. Mounted to an LBV tool skid the ProViewer is easily attached when needed.
