Tritech Gemini

The LBV can be equipped with the latest multi-beam sonar manufactured by Tritech International called Gemini. Offering high resolution imagery and interface with other Tritech sensors such as the Micron Nav tracking system.

The Gemini offers a very wide horizontal angle field of view at 120º, which provides greater coverage and less chance of losing the target. With a range of 120 meters (394ft) the Gemini can pickup objects at a great distance. High frequency (720kHz) and fast update rate provide a smooth image, coupled with the LBV stability.

With Tritech's diverse range of products the Gemini can be integrated seamlessly with other important sensors such as the Micron Nav tracking system and Micron Echo Sounder. When combined with the other sensors Tritech's Seanet Pro software ties all together including video. The data and video are synchronized. Therefore recorded data can be revisited and target location on sonar will also show the physical location as well as video.

To handle the amount of displayed data SeaBotix offers the Integrated Navigation Control console (INC). The all in one console has the LBV controls, built in PC, GPS, tracking hub and amazing 20" wide screen monitor. Sonar, tracking, altitude and video are easily displayed on the large monitor. No need for a laptop.

The Gemini can be used in both ROV mode and Crawler mode on the LBV300-5. When mounted to the crawler the Gemini produces astoundingly stable imagery of a ship hull. The 120º field of view enhances the crawler while searching the hull ensuring nothing is missed.
