Use of multi-beam sonar technology on ROVs has grown considerably as the technology improves. Sizes are shrinking and capability increasing. The Tritech Gemini 720i is no different. The SeaBotix line of MiniROVs can be fitted with the Tritech Gemini 720i multi-beam sonar. With 120º field of view, 120 meter (394ft) range and crisp imagery the Gemini 720i provides zero visibility long range target acquisition.
The Gemini 720i can be mounted to a variety of SeaBotix MiniROV systems including the LBC. When used on the LBC the Gemini 720i can be mounted on the top or bottom depending on the mode (ROV or Crawler).

Crisp clear sonar imagery
The high frequency phased array technology produces an impressive clear image. A variety of user definable filters are available to further enhance the image based on operating conditions. Target identification is easier than ever with the Gemini 720i.
|
| |
Wide angle field of view
The Gemini 720i set a new standard by offering a wide 120º field of view. Having the increased peripheral imagery not only increases target acquisition, but aids in navigation.

| |
Integrated sensor software solution
Tritech's wide range of sensors can be integrated with the Gemini 720i to provide a synchronized all-in-one software solution. Such as use with the Micron Nav USBL tracking system or Micron Echo Sounder.
|
| |
Long range image capability
The Gemini 720i has an impressive 120 meter (394ft) range. Large targets are easily identified at longer ranges, such as sunken wrecks, cars or structures. Small objects are easily identifiable out to about 50 meters (165ft).
|
| |
Built in Velocity of Sound
The Gemini 720i is equipped with a velocity of sound measuring device (small cutout on front top of unit). This improves accuracy and the displayed value can be used with other sensors such as the Micron Nav USBL tracking system.
