ICC150Unique to the SeaBotix line of products is the intuitive control system. ROV operators both inexperienced and experienced find the LBV easy to learn and operate. By placing all controls at the operator's finger tips there is not need to lose sight of the monitor.

Integrated Control System
The
LBV150S2 system comes complete with a convenient and rugged case fitted with the surface power supply, hand controller and monitor. Simply open the lid, plug into mains power and connect the umbilical. Fast and efficient. The lower portion contains the surface power supply and the hand controller while the lid houses a large 15" color LCD behind a waterproof panel. Understanding operations are often in adverse conditions the control console is rated IP64 or splash proof.

Intuitive Hand Controller
At the heart of the controls is the intuitive hand controller. The three axis joystick and proportional knob control the thrusters while the membrane keypad operates all other functions. Thruster controls are straight forward for example - rotating the joystick rotates the LBV.

The additional controls found on the hand controller include thruster gain settings, camera tilt, camera focus, cameHand Controllerra switch, lighting on/off and intensity, auto heading, auto depth, accessory operation, programming and overlay position.

Offering operator preference the hand controller can be used resting in the lower tray of the integrated console or it can be removed.

Surface Power Supply - Safe
The
LBV150S2 has minimal power requirements. Input power is 650 watts. All systems have an international power supply with acceptable inputs of 100-130VAC or 200-240VAC 50/60 Hz. The question sometimes arises regarding safety. LBV is designed with safety in mind. Protecting those around are safety features as outlined in the "Code of Practice for Safe use of Electricity in Water" as published by the Association of Diving Contractors. Such features include isolated power supply, (L.I.M.) line insulation monitor and leak detectors. LBV is safe to operate.

On screen Information Overlay
Each
LBV150S2 system is supplied with an on screen information overlay. The critical information displayed aids the operator in navigation, setup and control. With the information displayed right on the video screen there is no need to look away ensuring you don't lose track of your position. Also, the overlay position can be changed from bottom to top or even off completely.

Video OverlayInformation displayed includes; thruster gain settings, heading, depth, turns counter, water temperature, camera angle, date, time, trim on/off, light level, user text.

Enhanced Functions
To further simplify controls the
LBV150S2 is fitted with auto heading, auto depth (hover) and trim. Trim acts like cruise control by sustaining thruster movement when engaged. Additionally, the thrusters have variable gain settings. With 32 steps in each direction the joystick offers high resolution for fine control and combined with gain settings from 10 to 100 percent the LBV has precision controls.
