LBV150S2 - Options
line

The LBV150S2 is a highly capable system in its standard form. However, there are certain applications that require additional options. The LBV150S2 is designed to be a flexible platform for a variety of options further enhancing its capability.

GrabberGrabber & Attachments
The LBV150S2 can be fitted with the three jaw grabber enabling retrieval of both large and small objects. With exceptional gripping force the grabber can clamp onto heavy objects and then retrieved by pulling in the umbilical. Open and close functions are done by the LBV hand controller. The standard three jaw assembly offers attachment to objects in various positions.

LBV150 ELS150External Lighting
For use in conditions that require maximum light the LBV150S2 can be fitted with external lighting. The external lights offer greater coverage in a fixed direction. Use of the internal lamp can be done at the same time and is needed in the up or down camera position. Intensity and on/off is controlled by the LBV hand controller.

USBL Tracking System
The LBV150S2 can be fitted with a USBL tracking system that enables the operator to keep track of the LBV during operations. A small responder is fitted to the LBV which communicates with the transceiver mounted to the vessel. Much like an under water GPS. The included software has an interface for both a GPS and ship's compass.

As with the sonar the tracking system requires a PC compatible computer to run the software. This is not included with the kit.

10x Optical Zoom Camera
A 10x optical zoom camera can be fitted in place of the included color cZoom Cameraamera. Use of an optical zoom camera enables an LBV operator to zoom in on tight spots that are not easily accessible. The camera features 480 lines of resolution and a 2 lux light requirement. To correct distortion and enable the use of Auto Focus the upgrade includes a faceted view port. Zoom controls, manual focus and auto focus on/off are via the standard LBV hand controller.

NOTE: the use of the zoom camera does require reasonable water quality.

Remote and Comprehensive Spares Kits
The LBV150S2 is very robust and rugged, however, it is designed to operate in a harsh and unpredictable environment. To ensure operation through most instances the LBV150S2 can be supplied with a Remote Spares Kit. Should total redundancy be required a Comprehensive Spares Kit is the best choice. Never under estimate the value of spares.
