LBV150SE-5 - Options

The LBV150SE-5 on its own offers a highly capable inspection system. Furthering the capability SeaBotix offers a variety of options such as zoom camera, imaging sonar, object avoidance sonar, positioning system, laser scaling and more. Customize the LBV150SE-5 to suit your exact requirements.

Crawler Skid
One revolutionary aspect of the LBV150SE-5 system is the ability to add the patented Crawler Skid. By fitting the skid the LBV150SE-5 becomes an unmatched inspection tool for ship hulls. The suction device and four-wheel drive enable the LBV150SE-5 to adhere to the ship hull in up to 5 knots of current and drive. More stable and precise than any ROV.

Grabber & Attachments
The LBV150SE-5² can be fitted with the three jaw grabber enabling retrieval of both large and small objects. With exceptional gripping force the grabber can clamp onto heavy objects and then retrieved by pulling in the umbilical. Open and close functions are done by the LBV hand controller. The standard three jaw assembly offers attachment to objects in various positions.

In addition to the three jaw attachment the grabber can be fitted with a Parallel Two Jaw attachment, Interlocking Three Jaw attachment or Cutting Tool. Each of the attachments are simple to install and also available as an entire kit including case, tools and spare blade.

Tritech Gemini Multi-Beam Sonar
The LBV150SE-5 can be fitted with the high resolution Tritech Gemini mutli-beam sonar greatly enhancing black water operations and object identification/aquisition. Mounted in a protective skid the Gemini offers 120º horizontal field of vide, 120 meter (394ft) range and software integration with other Tritech sensors.

Tritech Micron Scanning Sonar
The LBV150SE-5 can be supplied with the impressive Tritech Micron DST scanning sonar. With a 360 degree scan, 75 meter range and the latest CHIRP technology the Micron provides the operator or navigator with a powerful object avoidance, identification sonar. Image quality is excellent and the incredibly small form factor doesn't affect the performance of the LBV150SE-5. A cost effective, yet capable sonar for varying applications.

BlueView ProViewer 2D Imaging Sonar
To enhance visual acquisition and identification in less than perfect conditions and also wider range theLBV150SE-5 can be fitted with an acoustic imaging sonar.  The ProViewer is a small, powerful and fast acoustic imaging sonar that operates at 900 kHz.  With a 50º field of view and 1.5º - 15º beam width the ProViewer provides a high resolution image from 1.5m to 150m (5ft to 500ft).

Tritech Micron Nav Positioning System
Underwater navigation and positioning is tricky. The LBV150SE-5 can be equipped with the Tritech Micron Nav positioning system to provide accurate underwater position feedback. USBL tracking is simple to setup and operate. The software is easy to follow and integrated with the Micron sonar, Micron Echo sounder and video.

Tritech Micron Echo sounder
The LBV150SE-5 can be fitted with the Tritech Micron Echo sounder providing distance from the seafloor. A simple display provides constant distance from the seafloor. Use of the Micron Echosounder is very useful in keeping a set distance off the seafloor for accurate data collection. Also, helpful when approaching the seafloor to ensure you don't kick up the mud on the bottom.

Color Zoom Camera
TheLBV150SE-5 can be fitted with an internal color zoom camera. With a 10x optical zoom the camera is able to provide detailed close up images from a distance. The key however to the use of the zoom camera are adequate operational conditions. A special multifaceted view port is added to theLBV150SE-5 to optically correct the image providing accurate image shape.

Laser Scaling
TheLBV150SE-5 can be fitted with a pair of lasers that track with the primary camera. Set at 50mm apart the lasers project a pair of dots that can be used to estimate size.

Integrated Navigation Control Console
SeaBotix offers a totally integrated solution for use with the LBV and various sensors. The simple, seamless design houses the LBV controls, PC, GPS and amazing 20" sunlight readable monitor. No more laptop and cabling, simply open, connect and power on. All data and video captured to the built in high performance computer.

Remote Spares Kit
TheLBV150SE-5 is very robust and rugged, however, it is designed to operate in a harsh and unpredictable environment. A comprehensive spares kit that includes such components as electronic boards is essential to mission critical operations. This remote location kit is suited to operations that require onsite total serviceability and situations where spares acquisition is not realistic. Never under value spares.
