The SeaBotix LBV offers a flexible platform in which each user can custom tailor the system to their exact requirements. From experience the list of standard options has grown to include those most often requested.
Unique to the LBV in the small ROV market is the integration of each option. Each option is carefully designed to seem-less integrate in terms of mechanical fit and electronic integration. This feature ensures the LBV maintains its high level of performance where other small ROVs simply strap the options on and require a larger diameter umbilical. Each option has been carefully selected or designed to be the best value.
There are many options available that are not listed due to their unique nature. SeaBotix has a reputation of being beyond simply a small ROV manufacturer but rather a specialist engineering firm able to meet the requirements of the client. Three Jaw Grabber for LBV
A single function three jaw grabber for small and large object retrieval, messenger line deployment or various other applications .
Three Jaw Grabber for alternate systems
Same grabber as above, but without the LBV electronics. Simple two wire connection through a two pin bulkhead connector.
Attachments for Grabber
Parallel jaw, cutting tool and interlocking three jaw attachments for either LBV or Non LBV grabbers. Also available as a complete kit including case, tools, lube and spare blades.
Thruster for Systems other than LBV
SeaBotix Brushed thruster without the LBV electronics enabling installation to non LBV systems. Simple two wire controls (power and ground).
External Lighting
Additional external lighting to complement the internal lighting. Utilizing new LED technology the external lighting provides additional coverage, whiter light, wider beam and small form factor. Available in either two or four head version. Variable intensity control from the LBV hand controller.
Laser Scaling System
Two lasers mounted internally at a 50mm separation to allow the operator to estimate size. The dots appear on-screen and track the color camera. Controls allow for on/off.
Scanning Sonar
An object identification and location scanning sonar with 360 degree scan and 75 meter range. For turbid or black water conditions a sonar is required to locate the target for visual inspections.
Multi-Beam Sonar
High definition multi-beam sonars with ranges from 55 to 137 meters and 45º horizontal beam. For turbid or black water conditions where high resolution images and fast scan rates are required.
Part Number :
P900E-20
Applicable Systems:
All LBV systems rated to 300 meters except LBV150BE2
USBL Tracking System
A simple to operate and setup underwater positioning system. Keeping track of your location is often the most difficult task of ROV operation.
Color Zoom Camera
A color 10 x optical zoom camera enabling the operator the ability to inspect tight spaces from a distance. Complete with optically corrected view port. Requires clear water for best results.
Video Enhancer
Where conditions produce less than perfect vision as a result of turbidity the use of a video enhancer will greatly improve image contrast and color. A simple real time solution to a very common problem of poor water quality.
Cygnus UT Thickness Probe
Fit a Cygnus Ultrasonic Thickness probe to take measurements with the LBV. A tool skid is fitted with probe for quick on/off use. The probe allows for measurements through some coatings reducing the need for a cleaning brush.
Deployment Garage
For applications where the LBV is to stay at depth for extended periods the use of the deployment garage helps to store the LBV when not in use. Rugged materials ensure long lasting use.
Altimeter
Fitted to the crossbar support providing distance above the seafloor. Helpful for maintaining constant height above the seafloor when conducting survey patterns.
Navigation Console
A rugged PC solution with seamless integration with LBV control console and sensors. Latest Intel processor and video capture for full data and video recording.
