The Video Overlay is a character generated display of information that is overlayed on the video. All the critical information is provided including depth, heading, turns counter, camera angle indicator, thruster gain control, light level, water temperature, date and time. In addition to the critical information displayed the video overlay also has a 28 character user programmable feature. This allows the operator to input the desired text such as job name. The text is displayed opposite the critical information.

The overlay also allows the operator to access the Programming menus.
