Note: 500 hours of operation is an approximate and can be done either before or slightly after 500 hours.
This procedure is in addition to maintenance required after each use in clean or dirty water.
After 500 hours of operation or two (2) years it is recommended that your LBV system be sent in for an update and full sealing O-ring replacement. This procedure thoroughly checks over all the components of your LBV system, updates to the latest specification and ensures it is in perfect working order.
Depending on the last service there can be many updates. Once your LBV system is received an estimate for the work to be done is sent to you for approval.
Examples of updates and replacements:
- All sealing O-rings replaced
- Update software (if required)
- Update electronics (if required)
- Refresh thruster grease gallery
- Refresh oil in HPDC thrusters (if fitted)

- View port
- Protective shell
- Halogen lamp
