Dirty Water Maintenance
line

Note: this is the minimum recommended maintenance.
Inspection
  • Carefully inspect the entire system for damage.
  • Inspect thruster propellers for debris that may be caught.
  • Inspect umbilical for cuts.
Cleaning
  • First it is best to soak in a bucket of fresh water for 15 minutes or more to allow fresh water to penetrate all areas.
  • Then remove the bumper frame/protective shell and flotation module. This will allow you to clean in all the tight areas. Follow online procedures for removal of bumper frame/shell and flotation module.
  • Wipe umbilical clean.
  • Clean any other components such as the controller or power supply if required.
Storage
  • Allow LBV to dry after cleaning with fresh water.
  • Once everything is clean and dry pack away neatly in cases.
