Todays software technology enables SeaBotix to continually improve the LBV system. Built into the design of LBV is the ability to update the ROV software without any disassembly or need to return the system to SeaBotix. LBV owners can simply download the latest software version from the website and install using a PC compatible computer.
Prior to installing the software it is important to identify which version is correct for your system. There are several boards in the LBV with their own software. The software version that can be updated without sending into SeaBotix is the ROV.
There are three (3) different versions of software relating to the type of LBV system you have. It is important to ensure you choose the right version as installing the wrong software will render your LBV unusable.
Version 2
Generation 1 operator control unit keypad. Gradient background.

Version 3

To check the versions of software in your LBV follow these simple instructions:
- Press PGRM on keypad
- Press 5 for Main Menu
- Press 3 for Diagnostics
- Press 2 for Software Versions
