Partial, Sporadic or No Thruster, Grabber and/or ELS Control, but Video is Present and Cameras are Controllable. Or, One Thruster Position does not work, despite installing known-good thruster. There is 28VDC on the Backplane. Please contact SeaBotix for technical assistance with this step.

| Fault Isolation #1 |
With Thrusters removed, verify continuity (of data lines and clock line) between Backplane connector on Motherboard and Thruster pins on Backplane. There should be 10-15 Ohms of resistance on each data line. To verify clock continuity: With the LBV electronics assembled and energized, verify 4.5-4.95VDC is present on the Backplane clock pin (any position). If continuity exists, the Motherboard is faulty, and must be returned to the factory for repair/replacement. If continuity does not exist, isolate lack of continuity. |
